Shrimp & Crab Croissant Bomb Cups 🦐🥐
Flaky, cheesy, seafood-loaded bites perfect for parties or brunch!
📝 Ingredients :
1 can (8-count) refrigerated croissant dough or puff pastry sheets
1/2 cup lump crab meat (drained)
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & chopped (reserve a few whole shrimp for topping)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
1 tbsp chopped parsley (plus extra for garnish)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Cooking spray or butter for greasing
🍽️ ** How to Make It :**
1️⃣ Prep the Dough Cups:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a muffin tin. Roll out croissant dough and press each square into the muffin cups, forming a deep well. This sets the base for those flaky, golden layers that hold all the seafood magic.
2️⃣ Make the Creamy Filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, chopped shrimp, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, parsley, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. This filling is rich, cheesy, and brimming with seafood flavor.
3️⃣ Fill and Top It Off:
Spoon the mixture into each dough cup. Place a whole shrimp on top for that next-level presentation. Brush exposed dough with egg wash for that perfect golden-brown crust.
4️⃣ Bake ‘Til Puff & Golden:
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the croissant cups are puffed and deep golden brown. The tops should be melty, golden, and begging to be devoured.
5️⃣ Garnish and Serve Hot:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm. These are perfect for brunch spreads, game day bites, or a fancy finger food moment!
