
Cheesy Cajun Chicken Twisted Pasta in Creamy Mozzarella Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Cajun Chicken:
2 large chicken breasts, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Juice of 1/2 lemon
For the Pasta & Sauce:
12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Toss chicken slices with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss until evenly coated in sauce.
Garnish with parsley and optional red pepper flakes before serving.
