Smash Patties
• 200 g ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
• Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Bacon & Cheese
• 4–6 slices smoked bacon
• 2 slices American cheese or cheddar (American melts best)
Buns
• 1 brioche burger bun
• Butter (for toasting)
Toppings
• Dill pickle slices
• Finely shredded iceberg lettuce (optional)
Smash Sauce
• 2 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tsp mustard
• 1 tsp pickle juice
• Optional: pinch of smoked paprika

🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Bacon
• Place bacon in a cold pan
• Cook on medium heat until crispy
• Remove and set aside

2️⃣ Prepare the Patties
• Divide beef into two loose balls (do NOT press yet)
• Season generously with salt and pepper

3️⃣ Smash & Cook
• Heat a cast-iron skillet or flat griddle very hot
• Add beef balls
• Smash hard using a spatula or burger press
• Cook 1½–2 minutes until crispy edges form
• Flip once, add cheese immediately
• Cook another 30–45 seconds
👉 The patties should be thin, crispy, and juicy

• Butter cut sides of buns
• Toast until golden brown

Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth.

Bottom bun → sauce → pickles → first smash patty → cheese → bacon →
second smash patty → cheese → bacon → more sauce → top bun
