🍎 Apple Cranberry Brie Quesadillas with Hot Honey 🍯🔥

📝 Ingredients

For the Quesadillas
• 🌮 4 medium flour tortillas
• 🍎 1 apple, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Gala recommended)
• 🧀 150–200g Brie cheese, sliced
• 🍒 ⅓ cup cranberry sauce (fresh or canned)
• 🧈 1 tbsp butter (or oil)
• 🌿 Optional: fresh rosemary or thyme
• 🥜 Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch

For the Hot Honey
• 🍯 3 tbsp honey
• 🌶️ ½–1 tsp chili flakes (adjust heat level)
• 🥄 Optional: a tiny squeeze of lemon for brightness

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Hot Honey
1. Warm honey in a small pan (or microwave 10 seconds).
2. Stir in chili flakes and a little lemon.
3. Set aside to infuse.

2️⃣ Prepare the Quesadillas
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
2. Melt a little butter.

For each quesadilla:
3. Lay a tortilla in the pan.
4. Add slices of Brie on one half.
5. Add thin apple slices on top.
6. Spoon a bit of cranberry sauce over the apples.
7. Add a pinch of rosemary/thyme and nuts if using.
8. Fold tortilla in half.

3️⃣ Cook Until Crispy
1. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and the Brie is melted.
2. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

4️⃣ Serve

Slice into wedges and drizzle generously with hot honey.
Add extra cranberries, apple slices, or herbs for garnish.
