• 🌶️ 1 tsp smoked paprika

• 🧂 Salt & pepper
• 🍅 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 🧀 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese
• 🌽 12 small corn tortillas
For Frying
• 🛢️ Vegetable oil for frying
Toppings
• 🍅 Diced tomatoes
• 🌿 Fresh cilantro
• 🧅 Chopped green onions
• 🍶 Sour cream
• 🌶️ Optional: jalapeños

👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Beef Filling
1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a bit of oil.
2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
5. Mix in chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
6. Stir in tomato paste and cook 2–3 minutes until thick.
7. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheese.

To avoid cracking:
• Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 20–30 seconds or
• Heat them lightly in a skillet for 10 seconds per side.

3️⃣ Roll the Taquitos
1. Add 1–2 tbsp beef mixture onto each tortilla.
2. Roll tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.

1. Heat oil in a pan (about 2 cm deep).
2. Fry taquitos seam-side down for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
3. Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
