Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon
Ingredients:
For the Stuffed Salmon:
4 salmon fillets (skin-on or off, about 6 oz each)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
For the Crab & Shrimp Filling:
4 oz lump crab meat (drained and picked clean)
4 oz cooked shrimp, finely chopped
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish (optional):
Lemon wedges
Chopped chives or dill
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shrimp, mayonnaise, cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until well incorporated.
Pat the salmon fillets dry. Using a sharp knife, cut a deep pocket or slit in the center of each fillet, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Fill each salmon fillet with a generous amount of the crab and shrimp mixture.
Place the stuffed fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and lightly season the tops with salt and pepper.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve warm with lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired.
