Honey-Roasted Stuffed Pears with Blue Cheese, Berries & Balsamic Drizzle

📝 Ingredients

For the Pears
• 🍐 3–4 ripe but firm pears (Bosc or Bartlett)
• 🍯 2 tbsp honey
• 🧈 1 tbsp melted butter
• 🌿 ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
• 🧂 Pinch of salt

For the Filling
• 🧀 ½ cup crumbled blue cheese (or gorgonzola)
• 🫐 ½ cup blueberries
• 🖤 ½ cup blackberries
• ❤️ ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
• 🌿 Fresh mint leaves

Toppings
• 🍯 Extra honey (optional)
• 🥜 Walnuts (toasted)
• 🍇 Balsamic glaze or reduction
• ✨ Fresh cracked black pepper (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Pears
1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
2. Cut pears in half and scoop out the core with a spoon, creating a small “cup.”
3. Place pears cut-side up on a baking tray.
4. Mix melted butter + honey + cinnamon + salt and brush onto pears.

2️⃣ Roast

Bake for 20–25 minutes, until tender and slightly caramelized on the edges.

3️⃣ Assemble the Filling

Once pears are warm but not too hot:
1. Add a spoonful of blue cheese into each hollow.
2. Top with blueberries, blackberries, and pomegranate seeds.
3. Add a few fresh mint leaves.

4️⃣ Add the Finishing Touches
• Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
• Add toasted walnuts around the plate.
• Add extra honey if you want more sweetness.
• Finish with a pinch of black pepper (optional but amazing with pears + blue cheese).
