📋 Ingredients
For the Steak:
● 2–4 ribeye, filet mignon, or sirloin steaks
● Salt & black pepper, to taste
● 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
● 2 cloves garlic, smashed
● 2 sprigs thyme or rosemary (optional)
For the Cajun Shrimp Sauce:
● ½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
● 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
● 1 tbsp butter
● 2 garlic cloves, minced
● ½ cup heavy cream
● ¼ cup chicken broth (or white wine)
● ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
● Salt & pepper, to taste
● Fresh parsley or green onion, chopped
● A squeeze of lemon, optional
📝 Instructions
1: Sear the Steaks: Pat steaks dry and season well. Heat oil/butter in a hot skillet. Sear 3–5 minutes per side. Add garlic and herbs at the end, baste with the pan juices. Remove and let rest under foil.
2: Sauté the Shrimp: Season shrimp with Cajun spice. In the same skillet, cook 1–2 mins per side until pink. Set aside.
3: Creamy Cajun Sauce: Lower heat, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Deglaze with broth or wine. Add cream and Parmesan, simmer 2–3 mins. Season to taste. Return shrimp to the pan and warm through.
