🍤🔥 Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Shrimp

🛒 Ingredients (2 servings)

For the Shrimp
• 500g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• 4 garlic cloves, minced

For the Creamy Sauce
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• ½ cup cherry tomatoes or diced tomato
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup chicken broth (or seafood broth)
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, adds depth)
• ½ tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
• 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Serve with
• Hot white rice or jasmine rice

👨‍🍳 Instructions

🔥 1. Season & Sear the Shrimp
1. Pat shrimp dry.
2. Season with Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika & salt.
3. Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a pan.
4. Sear shrimp 2 minutes per side until golden.
5. Remove shrimp & set aside.

🍅🧄 2. Make the Cream Sauce
1. In the same pan add the remaining 1 tbsp butter.
2. Add garlic + onion → sauté until fragrant.
3. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
4. Pour in chicken broth → simmer 1 minute.
5. Add heavy cream and stir until smooth.
6. Add a pinch of Cajun seasoning for extra flavor.
7. Simmer 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

🍤💛 3. Combine Everything
1. Add shrimp back to the pan.
2. Spoon the creamy sauce over shrimp.
3. Simmer 1 minute to absorb flavors.
4. Add fresh parsley on top.

🍚🔥 Serve

Serve the creamy Cajun garlic shrimp over warm white rice.
Drizzle extra sauce on top.
Finish with cracked black pepper for the look in the picture.
