
🌭 Super Cheesy Chili Hot Dogs
🧀 Ingredients (4–6 hot dogs)
Chili
• 500 g ground beef
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 cup crushed tomatoes
• ½ cup beef broth (or water)
• 1 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp cumin
• Salt & pepper
• Pinch sugar (optional)
Cheese sauce
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp flour
• 1 cup milk
• 1½ cups shredded cheddar (or cheddar + mozzarella)
• Pinch salt
Assembly
• 4–6 hot dogs
• Hot dog buns
• Extra shredded cheese (optional)
Toppings (optional but recommended)
• Jalapeños
• Diced onions
• Green onions
• Pickles
• Cilantro

🔥 Instructions
1. Make the chili
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook onion until soft.
2. Add garlic + beef. Brown well.
3. Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, broth, and spices.
4. Simmer 10–15 minutes until thick and spoonable.

2. Make the cheese sauce
1. Melt butter in a small pot.
2. Whisk in flour → cook 1 minute.
3. Slowly add milk while whisking.
4. When thick, stir in cheese until smooth and glossy.

Grill, pan-fry, or boil — your choice.
